Loryn Bamberg, MFTT

Marriage Family Therapist Trainee

Loryn Bamberg is a Marriage and Family Therapy trainee at Touro University who brings warmth, authenticity, and real-life understanding into the therapy room. As a mom of five in a beautifully blended family, she knows that relationships can be both meaningful and messy, and that growth often comes from learning to navigate them with compassion.

Loryn has experience working with preteens and teens and is deeply passionate about supporting children, couples, and individuals who are processing grief. She is especially attuned to the emotional worlds of young people and the complexities of connection within families and partnerships.

Her approach is client-centered, humanistic, and thoughtfully tailored to each person she works with. Drawing from parts/internal family systems work, attachment theory, and narrative therapy, Loryn helps clients make sense of their inner experiences, strengthen relationships, and move toward lasting change. She believes you are the expert on your own life — Her role is to walk alongside you with curiosity, care, and steady support.

When she’s not in the therapy room, you’ll likely find Loryn reading, cheering from the sidelines as a dedicated sports mom, or recharging by the beach — the place that keeps her grounded and reminds her to slow down and savor the moment.
