Julianne Henry, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker # 23586
Clinical Supervisor
I believe that each person holds an inherent capacity for healing, growth, and meaningful change. Within every individual is a well of strength, insight, and resilience—though at times, life’s challenges, stress, or past experiences can make these qualities feel distant or difficult to access. Therapy offers a space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with those inner resources. Through this process, individuals can deepen self-understanding, build effective coping strategies, and move toward a life that feels more balanced, authentic, and fulfilling.
As a therapist and clinical supervisor, I am dedicated to creating a safe, respectful, and compassionate environment where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. I view the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative partnership, grounded in trust and curiosity, where individuals are encouraged to explore their experiences and work toward meaningful, sustainable growth. My approach is integrative and tailored to each person’s unique needs. I draw from trauma-informed, psychodynamic, and cognitive-based modalities within a wellness-oriented framework, supporting clients in addressing both immediate concerns and deeper, long-standing patterns.
In 2023, I joined Kindred Heart Therapy Group to provide clinical supervision support. This role has since grown to include offering ongoing clinical guidance and supervision to MSW trainees and Associate Clinical Social Workers, with a focus on fostering professional development, clinical confidence, and ethical, client-centered care.

A Northern California native with deep roots in Placer and Nevada Counties, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, Master of Social Work, and Pupil Personnel Services Credential from California State University, Sacramento. I spent over two decades working in public sector settings, including county behavioral health agencies and school systems, before transitioning to private practice, where I provide individual therapy and clinical supervision. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with active licensure in California, Colorado, and Utah.

Outside of my professional work, I enjoy farm life—growing native plants, fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers, caring for chickens, and spending time with my dogs. I value time with family and friends and enjoy cooking, baking, hiking, birdwatching, and maintaining a regular yoga and Pilates practice.
